Product description
Rare early table lamp model Scrittoio 12297 designed by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce in 1949. This elegant desk lamp features a refined combination of painted metal and brass, characterized by its distinctive brass sphere which forms an innovative central joint allowing the light to be precisely oriented. The model was first introduced in Domus magazine with a brass saucer element that was later removed. In 1949 a revised version was developed, which was subsequently presented in the “Italy at Work” exhibition catalog in Florence in 1950. The lamp was published again in Domus in 1951. In the same year, the model was selected by Achille Castiglioni for the lighting section of the IX Triennale di Milano, highlighting its importance in the development of post-war Italian lighting design. The design embodies the refined engineering and sculptural elegance that made Arredoluce one of the most innovative lighting manufacturers of the mid-20th century.
