Product description
This is a set of two glass bowls, designed by the influential Dutch designer Andries Dirk Copier. These pieces are a classic example of his work for Glasfabriek Leerdam, known as the 'Ananas' model. The bowls are made of pressed glass and have a distinctive smoky brown color that beautifully catches the light. The design is immediately recognizable by the geometric, faceted pattern on the inside, reminiscent of a pineapple peel. This design is a prime example of Dutch glass design from the mid-20th century. This set is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age. They are an attractive addition to any interior, perfect as a fruit bowl or as a decorative object on a sideboard or coffee table. They fit well in both vintage and modern interiors.
