Lithograph by Manuel Kurpershoek, RKD registered Brief life description:Married to Gerda Förster 1947. Education; Amsterdam Graphic School, Gerrit Rietveld, no diploma. Was taught by Piet Klaasen and Karin and Theo Elfrink, among others. Lives and works since 1984 in Nijmegen. Visual artist, draughtsman, graphic artist, printer. Board positions: Artists Center the Elephant, Nijmegen (5 years), Foundation Atelier Rental Dak (1,5 years). Was connected; 2002 to Artez, and from 2005 to 2018 to HKU as workshop assistant letterpress and bookbinding. Retired since August 2018, Teacher of drawing at Sommer Academy Marburg, 2008 and 2010. Atelier and printing workshop in Nijmegen (Villanovastraat 4 6542 RB) Membership, Printing in the Margin and Association for original Graphics. Exhibitions at home and abroad. Printed as masterpieces on commission for visual artists: among others for Klaas Gubbels, Ad Gerritsen, Harrie Gerritz, Cees Andriessen, Ted Feelen, Theo, Bart and Karin Elfrink, Mariës Hendriks and many others.
