Lithograph by Manuel Kurpershoek, registered with the RKD. Brief biography: Married to Gerda Förster in 1947. Education: Amsterdam Graphic School, Gerrit Rietveld, no diploma. Received lessons from, among others, Piet Klaasen and Karin and Theo Elfrink. Has lived and worked in Nijmegen since 1984. Visual artist, draftsman, printmaker, printer. Board positions: Artists' Centre de Olifant, Nijmegen (5 years), Atelierverhuur Dak Foundation (1.5 years). Was affiliated with: Artez in 2002, and the HKU from 2005 to 2018 as a workshop assistant in letterpress and bookbinding. Retired since August 2018. Drawing teacher at the Sommer Academie Marburg, 2008 and 2010. Studio and printmaking workshop in Nijmegen (6542 RB). Membership: Drukwerk in de Marge and Vereniging voor Origineel Grafiek. Exhibitions at home and abroad. Drukte as masterpieces, commissioned editions for visual artists: including Klaas Gubbels, Ad Gerritsen, Harrie Gerritz, Cees Andriessen, Ted Feelen, Theo, Bart and Karin Elfrink, Mariës Hendriks, and many others.
