This wooden wall cabinet is a characteristic example of the Amsterdam School style, an influential movement within Dutch architecture and design. The design is characterized by the expressive, geometric forms and the artisanal woodwork typical of this period.
The piece of furniture is crafted from wood and finished in a warm, brown hue. The front features two doors with striking diamond-shaped panels that emphasize the geometric design language of the Amsterdam School. Behind the doors is a practically organized interior with small drawers and storage compartments. The top is finished with a raised edge, and the cabinet is equipped with metal hanging eyes for wall mounting. It can be used both hanging and standing.
The wall cabinet is in good, authentic condition befitting its age. There are two water stains on the top [not visible when hanging], as shown in the last photo. The wood displays a rich patina and the original finish has been preserved, contributing to the historical character of the piece of furniture.
