About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a classic grandfather clock by the brand AMS, crafted from wood in a warm brown tone. The design embodies traditional clockmaking artistry and combines functionality with a stately appearance, highlighted by the polished brass pendulum and weights.
The clock's case features clear lines with a profiled base and a curved top. The artfully designed dial has Roman numerals, ornate hands, and a moon phase display, adding a touch of astronomical elegance to the piece. Behind the central glass door, in addition to the movement, there are also side glass shelves and a mirrored back panel, giving the clock the additional function of a small display cabinet.
The clock is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. The wood has developed an appealing patina, and the mechanical and decorative brass elements are well preserved. The overall integrity and character of the piece are fully maintained.
As a timeless piece of furniture, this grandfather clock harmoniously fits into classically or traditionally furnished living rooms, entrance areas, or libraries. It serves not only as a reliable timepiece but also as an elegant focal point that lends a dignified atmosphere to any room.
