Large vintage cake plate from the Art Deco period, pastry dish made of amber-colored pressed glass, also known as depression glass, marked Fait en Belgique, design is attributed to the Belgian glass factory Verrerie de Scailmont.
Characteristic of depression glass are small imperfections, such as glass lines and small air bubbles; this is not damage but rather a means to demonstrate authenticity.
This beautiful cake plate is in good vintage condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its age and material, such as small superficial scratches but no cracks, breaks, or chips; check the photos for more details!
