About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
A wooden agricultural machine by Alois Vogl, probably a threshing machine or winnowing machine, with a funnel at the top and a crank on the side. The object is made of light-colored wood with red painted accents and metal parts. It shows paint wear, scratches, and discoloration, consistent with age and use. The text "Alois Vogl Neumarkt b. Salzb." is visible on the side.
An impressive antique wooden winnowing machine, manufactured by Alois Vogl in Neumarkt near Salzburg, Austria, dating from the early 20th century.
This traditional agricultural machine was originally used on farms to separate grain from chaff and other impurities. The winnowing machine has a beautifully aged pine wood construction, an original red painted interior, a wooden fan mechanism, and metal fittings.
The original manufacturer's name “Alois Vogl – Neumarkt b. Salzbg.” is still clearly visible on the side, emphasizing the historical value and authentic origin of this special object.
Thanks to its sculptural form, authentic signs of use, and beautiful rustic patina, this antique winnowing machine is a real eye-catcher in a rural interior, farmhouse, restaurant, lunchroom, or commercial space with a vintage look.
A special piece of European agricultural history
