The Alessi Twergi Parmesan mill is an outstanding example of Italian design, blending historical forms with modern functionality. Designed by Davide Piazza, this model is based on an original design from 1912 and was reissued in the 1980s as part of the renowned Twergi collection.
Crafted from elegant pearwood, the mill impresses with its warm, natural coloring in shades of brown and beige. The construction is reinforced with robust steel fittings, while the grinding mechanism features sharp steel pins operated by a hand-crank mechanism. The grated cheese falls directly into an integrated drawer, ideal for serving at the table. The mill measures 30 cm in height, 14.5 cm in width, and 14.5 cm in depth.
This particular mill is in mint condition and comes with the original instruction manual and cleaning brush. As a discontinued collector's item, it represents a significant part of Alessi's design history.
The Twergi Parmesan mill blends seamlessly into both classic and modern kitchen interiors. It serves not only as a functional kitchen tool but also as a striking decorative object on the dining table or kitchen counter.
