Product description
A set of two Alky Armchairs, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for the Dutch manufacturer Artifort. This design is an icon of the Space Age era and is characterized by its organic, continuous line and modular nature. The chairs are fully upholstered in a red wool fabric that accentuates their flowing form. The construction is based on a profiled aluminum frame, which gives the chairs their floating appearance and stability. Thanks to the ingenious connecting system, a characteristic of the Alky design, the chairs can be linked together to form a sofa or used as individual elements. This set is in good vintage condition, commensurate with its age. The original upholstery has been preserved, and the chairs have maintained their structural integrity and comfort. The color is vibrant, and the overall appearance testifies to a well-preserved design classic. These versatile Armchairs fit perfectly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to eclectic and contemporary. They can serve as striking accent chairs in a living room, create a comfortable seating area in an office, or be a stylish addition to a waiting room.
