Rare set of 3 elegant and fragile Aldo Tura side tables. The tables are made of wood and the tops are finished in goatskin. The legs are very delicate and fragile and are detachable. Designed and created by Italian designer Aldo Tura circa 1950-1960. The Italian designer-maker Aldo Tura, born in 1909, founded his furniture manufacturing house in 1939. Working between the idioms of Art Deco and Modernism, Tura created unique, high-quality furniture and accessories characterized by rich materials, sculptural forms, and high-quality artisanal techniques. Tura's work has become highly collectible, especially examples with exotic finishes, such as eggshell, goatskin, and parchment. Marked "TURA Milano Italia". Dimensions: H 41 x W 50.5 x D 30.5 cm Condition: In very neat condition with light signs of use on the legs of the two largest tables from nesting, consistent with their age. Photos show the exact product; all items come from a smoke-free home and will be carefully packed and shipped if possible.
