Striking bronze sculpture titled “Regina”, created in 1967 by Aldo Greco (Catanzaro, 1923 – Turin, 2003), an artist who left a distinctive mark on 20th-century Italian and international art.
Greco began his career in the early 1950s, developing an intense and original path that embraced different languages: from Futurist and Cubist influences to archaic and pre-Columbian art, blending them into a highly personal and powerful expressive style.
In “Regina”, the artist conveys the symbolic and sculptural essence of his vision, achieving a synthesis of archaic memory and modern sensibility through compact and solemn forms.
