Private sellerProduct description
This work is an original screenprint by the Italian artist Alberto Burri, a central figure in post-war Art. Titled "Serigrafia 1-B", this print represents an important testament to his graphic work, offered as a limited edition, hand-signed and numbered by the artist.
Made with the screen printing technique on paper, this print is part of an edition of 90 copies, as indicated by the numbering 13/90 in pencil. The composition is characterized by a central black ovoid shape, reminiscent of Burri's famous "Sacchi" and "Cretti", surrounded by bands of vibrant and fragmented colors. The bold use of red, blue, green, and yellow creates a strong dynamic contrast with the deep black, typical of his abstract and informal language.
The work is in excellent conservative condition, protected by glass within a frame with a white passe-partout. The artist's signature and edition numbering are clearly visible and affixed in pencil on the lower margin, confirming the authenticity and direct provenance from the artist's hand. The print retains its original chromatic brilliance.
This screenprint is a collector's item that fits elegantly into a modern or minimalist environment. Its visual strength makes it an ideal focal point for a living room, study, or office, and it pairs perfectly with a collection of contemporary or post-war Art.
