High-Quality Vintage Alanda Style Coffee Table - 80s - 100x100 cm
A magnificent vintage coffee table in the style of the iconic Alanda coffee table by Paolo Piva for B&B Italia. This piece was purchased over 35 years ago as a high-quality period replica and is in excellent vintage condition.
Where many replicas have coarse cylindrical legs, this heavy, quality model distinguishes itself with details that exceptionally closely resemble the original:
- The perfect leg construction: The frame runs in 1 fluid curve down to the ground and ends in the crystal-clear, sharp pyramid points that belong to the original design.
- Accurate dimensions: With a surface area of 100 x 100 cm and a rare low, streamlined height of 31 cm, the table has the perfect postmodern proportions.
- Clean lines: Viewed from above, the frame forms the iconic, symmetrical eight-pointed star with expertly finished weld seams in the corners.
The coated steel frame is extremely strong. The glass top (100x100 cm) has been replaced in the past and is in a neat, directly usable condition, but there are chips off the corners.
A unique opportunity for a pristine design icon that is hardly inferior to the original!
