Product description
This set of two African letter openers combines functional design with traditional woodcarving. The objects are characterized by detailed sculptural handles in the shape of stylized heads, giving them a distinctive character. Crafted from solid, dark wood, these letter openers display a deep, almost black color scheme that subtly allows the natural grain of the material to show through. The carving technique is a testament to craftsmanship, with facial features carved out of the wood with precision. The blades are smoothly finished and taper for optimal ease of use. The objects are in good condition, commensurate with their age and previous use. Over the years, the wood has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the historical appearance of the set. These letter openers make a refined addition to a classic or eclectic desk. They fit perfectly in an interior with tribal influences or serve as a striking detail in a modern home office.
