Product description
Discover an exceptional piece of Italian design history with this rare pair of "Mod. 778" low tables, envisioned by the legendary duo Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Cassina in the late 1970s. These tables are a testament to the Scarpas' signature minimalist aesthetic and Cassina's commitment to avant-garde design and superior craftsmanship.
Each table features a robust structure crafted from natural finish larch wood, showcasing its beautiful grain and inherent strength. The stark, rigorous lines of the wooden frame are beautifully contrasted by the vibrant pink laminate (Formica) tops, adding a distinctive pop of color and a touch of playful sophistication. Their clean, understated silhouette makes them truly timeless pieces that seamlessly integrate into diverse interior styles.
This pair has undergone a conservative restoration, ensuring their structural integrity and aesthetic appeal while preserving their authentic charm. The original patina of time has been carefully maintained, telling the story of their rich history.
Ready to use, these "Mod. 778" tables are versatile enough to serve as stylish coffee tables, elegant side tables, or even unique bedside companions
