The Med dining chairs (set of 4) by Acerbis are designed as F052601 Med dining chair with a four-legged base, an upholstered backrest and seat, and covered in Moss fabric from fabric group G in color 0004. The frame is made of solid ash with a dark stained walnut color, and the dimensions per chair are 48 cm wide, 50 cm deep, 77 cm high, and a seat height of 46 cm. The 1983 design by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis reflects an experimental approach with a strong focus on materials and craftsmanship and is based on original drawings from the historic Acerbis archive. The chair combines soft curves with clean lines and is characterized by refined proportions and unique details such as the characteristic cross-section of the legs and the cross-bracing, which together create a graphic appearance. The seat and backrest are crafted from bent plywood with polyurethane foam and fully upholstered in Moss, a textured upholstery fabric from Sahco by Kvadrat composed of 52% cotton, 22% viscose, 14% acrylic, 6% linen, 3% nylon, and 3% polyester, resulting in a pleasant texture and comfortable seating. With an abrasion resistance of 50,000 Martindale, this fabric is suitable for intensive use and contributes to the durability and versatility of the Med dining chair, which effortlessly complements a variety of table styles.
