The abstract stone sculpture – a couple in an embrace, created in the 1980s, Danish-made.
A decorative stone sculpture with a strongly sculptural, modernist form. The abstractly depicted couple in an embrace forms a compact, harmonious whole – the piece is minimalist yet highly expressive. The smoothly polished surface highlights the natural veining and multi-tonal structure of the stone in shades of graphite, bronze and greenish hues. It is a great addition to interiors in the mid-century modern, modern classic or Japandi styles – it looks perfect on its own (on a shelf, chest of drawers or side table), but also in a composition with vintage ceramics and glass.
Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear.
