Title: Silent Storm
Mixed media on wood 15x15x7 cm, 2026
There is no image to be found in this work
- only matter itself. The blue, the swell of paint, the movement that no longer needs form. The blue of the night sky holds everything together, yet within that single color an entire landscape of shadow and light unfolds.
The ridges in the center breathe rhythm, like a heartbeat. Toward the right, the material spirals out of control: thick folds piling up like frozen waves, like emotion that can no longer be contained. The edges reach outward, as if the work is breaking through its own frame.
This is not a painting you look at. It is a painting that looks at you.
It is about what lives beneath the surface
- the tension between control and surrender, between the sound before the scream and the silence after the storm.
The blue carries sorrow, but also depth
and dignity. And yet, there is light everywhere. As if the work is saying: / carry this, but / won't let you forget that there is still light.
Silent Storm is about holding your shape when everything inside is moving.
