Product description
This is a contemporary abstract painting, signed and dated 2021. The work, titled 'Poles by the Sea', translates a recognizable landscape theme into a powerful, non-figurative composition that captures the essence of the coastline.
The artwork is executed in a mixed technique on canvas, where the artist has used a heavy, pasty paint application reminiscent of impasto. The texture is rich and palpable, possibly due to the addition of sand or another granular material, which creates a three-dimensional effect. The palette is subdued and consists of earthy tones such as sand color, various shades of gray, white, and muted blue. The painting is presented in a sleek, black floating frame that focuses attention on the artwork itself.
The overall condition of the work is good. The rough, textured surface is an essential part of its artistic character and creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. This tactile quality gives the painting a robust and natural appearance.
Due to its considerable size and strong visual presence, this painting functions excellently as a focal point in a modern, minimalist, or Scandinavian interior. It harmonizes beautifully with natural materials and can bring an atmosphere of tranquility and sophistication to a living room, hallway, or office space.
