About Elena Markova
I was born in Russia, where I graduated from the conservatory, specializing in piano.
As an adult, I lived in New York for over 10 years and studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, majoring in video editing and animation. I also pursued photography and painting.
Since 2013, I have lived in Amsterdam and paint exclusively. My paintings are in private collections in many countries and are also donated to charities. I participate in various exhibitions. I use various methods and techniques, and I express myself through various themes that resonate with my current perception of the world. I use realistic and romantic painting styles, but intuitive painting is also no stranger to me, as I am always looking for something new.
Experimentation plays a major role in my work.
