Measuring 22.5 cm wide, 13 cm high, and 3 cm deep, and weighing 311 grams, this signed piece makes a bold statement while remaining compact enough for versatile display. In very good condition with slight signs of wear consistent with its age, this sculpture has been well preserved. As mentioned, it is signed. The sticker is not present. Abraham Palatnik (1928-2020) was a pioneering figure in kinetic art, known for his groundbreaking light sculptures and contributions to the Brazilian concrete-constructivist movement. In the 1960s, he began creating acrylic animal figures that applied his innovative artistic vision to functional decoration. These pieces are highly sought after by collectors of mid-century design and Brazilian modernism. This leopard sculpture represents a rare opportunity to own an iconic work by one of the most influential South American artists of the 20th century. Its timeless appeal, historical importance, and well-preserved condition make it a valuable addition to any serious collection of modern art or design.
