The Dutch architect Mart Stam became primarily known for his design of the first metal cantilever chair.
In the 1940s he turned to some more rustic designs for the Dutch 'Goed Wonen' company. This rare pair of 1950s armchairs are an example of this. The chairs are executed in a warm oak and black rexine upholstery on a sprung seat.
Minimal signs of age and use only.
