A beautiful "Minerva" corner table in teak and rattan by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Son, 1960's.
This solid teak corner table, with a second woven rattan top, shows exceptional craftsmanship and finesse. It is in excellent condition, with the rattan intact and unbroken. The teak structure is also in excellent condition. The factory stamp is visible on the underside of the table.
Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen form one of Denmark's leading design teams. They created a multitude of designer furniture items, including armchairs, chairs and coffee tables, which have remained strong symbols of their design over the years.
