The Danish furniture maker Funder-Schmidt & Madsen from Odense (manufacturer) was highly respected for their excellent quality and superior craftsmanship. The renowned designer Erik Buch collaborated with them, and these chairs share many design features of Buch's work. Solid teak frames with carved crossbars and a slightly curved back for extra comfort. The beautiful chairs, with a warm wooden frame and green upholstery, exude a beautiful design. A stunning set of eight mid-century Danish dining chairs, made by Funder-Schmidt & Madsen in the 1960s, enriches every dining room with elegance and style. A solid teak/rosewood frame and strikingly profiled backrest veneered with beautifully grained teak/rosewood emphasize the modernist form of the 1960s.
