For sale due to a move (and with a heavy heart), this set of 8 Gianni Versace dining chairs.
They are in very good condition. On a few chairs, the fabric on the back is slightly discolored by the sun. This is because the chairs were originally on the yacht "Lady Jane"—the yacht of the Westermeijer family; the real estate company went bankrupt in 2017 (the last photo shows the chairs on the yacht).
The chairs are crafted with a black wooden frame that provides a sturdy base for the striking upholstery. The seat and backrest feature a rich fabric with a bold pattern in blue, black, and gold, characteristic of Versace's Baroque influences. A gold-colored brand plate on the back confirms the provenance. The chairs were produced in Italy. The set is in good condition and displays character befitting previous occupancy. The construction is solid and the upholstery has retained its vibrant appearance.
