This set of six vintage stainless steel espresso cups with matching saucers was designed by Guido Bergna for Douwe Egberts. The timeless Italian design combines functional elegance with a sleek aesthetic characteristic of the 1980s.
The cups are crafted from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and feature a double-walled construction, ensuring the coffee's heat is optimally retained while the exterior remains cool to the touch. The set was produced in Italy, with one cup marked "Italwaber" on the bottom. All six cups feature a subtly engraved DE logo on the handle. The saucers have a diameter of 13.5 centimeters, and the cups are 5.5 centimeters high.
The set is in excellent vintage condition and has retained its original shine. The stainless steel surfaces display a light, authentic patina befitting its age and careful previous use.
