The chairs are from the first owner. I also have a matching "Milan" extendable teak table, but I do not have photos of that yet; the price would need to be agreed upon again.
This set of six dining chairs was designed by the renowned Dutch designer Louis van Teeffelen for the Wébé furniture factory during the heyday of mid-century modernism.
The design is characterized by the organic lines and refined woodworking typical of post-war Dutch design, making these chairs a sought-after item for lovers of authentic vintage furniture.
The chairs are crafted from solid wood with a warm, deep brown hue that contrasts with the vibrant blue upholstery that has been replaced. The curved backrest not only offers an elegant silhouette but also ensures excellent ergonomic seating comfort. The original Wébé brand plate is still present on the underside, confirming the authenticity of the set.
The set is in good vintage condition, with structural integrity fully preserved. The woodwork displays a light, natural patina that underscores the character of the furniture. One of the chairs is slightly damaged at the backrest.
