A set of six "Ensemble" chairs, designed by Alfred Homann for renowned Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen - a great example of late 20th-century Scandinavian design, known for their sleek, organically curved shells and minimalist profile. The chairs are constructed with a single-piece molded polypropylene shell in a versatile black finish, supported by a sturdy four-legged frame of chrome-plated tubular steel. The curved back flexes slightly, offering excellent ergonomic support. As confirmed by the original labels on the underside, these pieces were all made in Denmark between 1992 and 2001. Their stackable design is a practical bonus, making them easy to store when not in use. Overall, the set is in good condition, showing character consistent with its age and history.
