Set of 6 vintage design chairs / dining chairs, model Costes, by Philippe Starck (France) for Driade (Italy) in the 1980s. The chairs are used, with some damage to the armrests from being pushed in.
All chairs retain all labels at the bottom of the shells (Driade sticker and Aleph Starck engraving).
Made in black oak with black leather.
The dimensions are as follows:

Depth: 54 cm
This model is one of his most famous, originally designed for the Parisian café Costes. This chair has only three legs; this was not solely for design reasons, but also so that waiters would trip half as much while serving. The Costes chair was designed in 1985
