What 60-70 years ago was a small piece of furniture housing a Singer sewing machine has now been given a new life outside sewing.
The machine has been removed, leaving only the teak-veneered cabinet.
A pretty detour. When closed, it looks like a modernist sideboard from the 60s, discreet and elegant.
The left-hand door opens onto a practical radiating niche, while the right-hand door provides legroom.
The top has been renovated and is now in impeccable condition. We'll note only a slight horizontal mark on the front, but it's not obvious at all.
It could just as easily be used as a storage sideboard, or as a bar.
