For sale is a rare design icon from the 1980s: a complete set of six of the famous "Grillo" armchairs by the Italian manufacturer Effezeta. This set boasts an exceptionally elegant and rare combination of materials: the sculptural, three-dimensionally curved frames are made of matte brushed chrome. The seats and oval backrests are upholstered in the highest quality, dark green nappa leather. The set is in well-maintained vintage condition. The brushed chrome is clean and free of deep scratches or rust. The nappa leather is in very good condition; there are only minimal, superficial signs of wear on the seats, visible only upon close inspection in backlighting. Perfect as a stylish dining room set or for a conference room. This rarely offered set of six is only available as a complete set. Private sale. No shipping.
