About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of six Goebel pendant lamps, manufactured in the 1950s. The lamps combine cylindrical brass fixtures with facet-cut glass shades, a characteristic design from the mid-century era. The set comes from the former Club Roxy, which adds a unique historical context to the objects.
Each lamp consists of a brass holder with decorative rings that accentuate the profile. The cut glass spheres at the bottom are designed to diffuse light in an atmospheric and nuanced way. The combination of gold-colored brass and transparent glass gives the lamps an elegant and timeless appearance. The wiring of the lamps should be checked before use.
The overall condition of the set is good and consistent with its age, with an authentic patina on the brass that contributes to the character of the lamps. This patina testifies to the history and original use of the fixtures.
This set is particularly suitable for hanging as a cluster above a dining table or in a high hallway, where they add a refined and historical accent to an interior. They fit well within both classic and modern and eclectic styles.
