6 Thonet chairs for sale from the manufacturing period 1907 to 1922
Very decorative chair set with a graceful backrest.
Wood type: Beech with a beautiful wood grain and a warm color, this is a classic example from the pre-war years of a beloved design. These nostalgic bistro chairs are handmade and have a sturdy rattan hand-braided/woven webbing seat (Viennese wickerwork); Very nice workmanship; eye-catchers for every interior after an original design by Michael Thonet Type No. 14 from 1859.
The Architect and Designer Josef Hofmann has designed the chairs No. 5 and 6 designed after the model Type No. 14. The seat and legs are the same as No. 14, but the backrest has different bars.
