The Tułowice factory, established in Poland, produced remarkable quality stoneware between the 1960s and 1980s, characterized by a distinctive graphic style and a very smooth glaze. This set of six deep plates is a beautiful example. The warm, matte, brown-speckled beige background features a finely silk-screened decoration: white daisies with elongated petals, supported by thin green and brown stems, gracefully unfurl on the rim. The composition, both naturalistic and graphic, is characteristic of Scandinavian and Eastern European design of that era. The creamy, slightly satin glaze discreetly catches the light. Stamp printed on the back: PT Tułowice, Made in Poland, Stoneware. Diameter approximately 22 cm. In very good condition.
