Product description
This is a vintage modular corner sofa, executed in a distinctive 1970s style. The sofa consists of six separate elements that can be configured as desired, offering a high degree of flexibility in arrangement. The design, reminiscent of Laauser's creations, is characterized by its low, deep seats and voluminous, comfortable cushions.
The upholstery of the seats and backrests is made of patchwork leather in a warm, cognac-colored hue. This technique, where smaller pieces of leather are stitched together, gives the sofa a unique texture and a lively character. The base of the elements is covered with a contrasting fabric, contributing to the layered appearance of the furniture. The construction is robust and designed for comfort and durability, typical of furniture from this period.
The overall condition of the sofa is good, with a patina consistent with its age and use. Over the years, the leather has developed a characteristic appearance that adds to its vintage charm. The modular design makes it a versatile piece of furniture that adapts to various living spaces.
This sectional sofa is a statement piece that fits well in an eclectic, retro, or Mid-Century Modern interior. Its generous dimensions and comfortable seating make it an ideal sofa for a spacious living room, where it can serve as a central point for relaxation and socializing.
