Beautiful set of 6 original Herman Miller Eames Aluminum Group EA108 chairs, designed by Charles & Ray Eames.
This is the original EA108 swivel chair with a medium-high backrest, armrests, and a four-star base, executed in the characteristic vintage Hopsak fabric and aluminum.
All six chairs are of the same model, forming a beautiful, complete set. Ideal around a large dining table, conference table, in an office, studio, practice, reception area, or for an interior project.
The chairs are original Herman Miller pieces and are marked with the Herman Miller label/marking on the underside.
Condition
The chairs are used and show visible signs of age and wear. They can all be thoroughly cleaned again, and the aluminum can optionally be further polished.
For completeness:
- 1 chair currently no longer swivels;
- On 1 chair, a part/leg of the base is slightly loose; this is mainly noticeable when the chair is lifted and not when it is normally on the floor;
- The aluminum/chrome work is not in exactly the same condition on all six and shows signs of wear;
- The upholstery can still be thoroughly cleaned.
I prefer to state this clearly so that the condition is fully known beforehand.
At the same time, this is a great opportunity to buy six original EA108s at once and potentially make them completely neat again yourself. After a good cleaning and refresh, these can be exceptionally beautiful chairs again.
