A complete and rare set, for lovers of equestrian decor and antique tableware. These six polished metal coasters are line-engraved with a particularly intricate equestrian design. Each piece features two distinct scenes, separated by horizontal bands in a graphic style very characteristic of the 1950s-1970s. In the upper section, a show jumper gracefully clears a hedge. In the lower section, a horseshoe crossed with a riding crop completes the motif. The precise and delicate line drawing attests to the true care taken with these small table objects. The metal retains a beautiful polished shine, with the natural light traces of use expected of objects from this era.
