This set comprises six table knives signed by the cutler C. Raffin, presented in their original box covered in burgundy faux leather with a brass clasp. The blade bears the hallmark in a banded cartouche, with the letter C and the name RAFFIN, the signature of a French cutlery maker from the interwar period. Manufacturing dates from the 1920s to 1930s. The handles are made of genuine horn, a deep brown veined with tawny highlights, each piece remaining unique in its nuances. A metal ferrule ensures the connection to the steel blade, whose narrow tang follows the slender line of the whole.
