Product description
Set of 6 charming antique ironstone dinner plates from the Longchamp earthenware factory, "Pâquerettes" polychrome model, very rare, late 19th early 20th century circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic, bucolic Art Nouveau decoration of daisies, foliage, grasses and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-enhanced with fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow and brown tones. The rim is slightly scalloped.
25cm in diameter and 2.5cm high. Very good overall condition for their age, two plates show natural crazing of the enamel, one with a patina spot, one plate has lighter colors, original, there are a few very rare discreet cutlery marks in the center. Approximately 415gr per piece, or 2.500kg for the set.
