A set of six antique French dining chairs, manufactured in the 19th century. The chairs are a representative example of the Louis-Philippe style, characterized by a combination of comfort and refined elegance.
The chairs are made of dark, polished wood with a warm reddish-brown hue. The design includes gracefully curved front legs ending in castors, and a rounded backrest crowned with refined floral carving. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a taupe-colored, woven fabric that provides a neutral contrast to the dark wood.
They show normal signs of use and age. On one chair leg, the castor needs to be replaced, but this set is otherwise in good, antique condition consistent with its age.
