This monumental and atmospheric artwork was personally dated by the master in 1930. Measuring a total of 53 by 43 cm, the work is in fabulous, unrestored, and original condition, completely housed in its high-quality wooden design frame with a passe-partout. Impressionistic Atmosphere & Monumental Architecture This hand-signed masterpiece excels with its fabulous depth and instantly brings a devout, mystical, and highly exclusive atmosphere as wall art to any modern or classic high-end interior: Mighty Gothic Cathedral: The composition draws the eye deep into the nave of an immense cathedral, surrounded by monumental stone arches and stained-glass windows through which sunlight mystically breaks. In the foreground, a solemn crowd / religious procession in dark robes is captured in an unparalleled impressionistic manner. Crystal-Clear Signature: In the lower right corner is the sharp, original signature "L. Ch. Crespin 1930". Over time, the ink has completely fused with the fibers of the paper, guaranteeing absolute authenticity. Verified Provenance (Christmas Day 1977) The back of the framed work provides a splendid historical document full of character. The back features an authentic, handwritten sticker reflecting that this valuable artwork was given as a gift on Christmas Day 1977 within an affluent art circle. The provenance is correlated by the original inventory sticker with the artist's name and the registration code (B47).
