Set of 5 Zen armchairs by Steiner Paris, designed by Kwok Hoï Chan. An iconic example of French design, created in the late 1960s.
Set of 5 identical armchairs:
Armchairs ordered in 2007 and delivered in 2008 from a Steiner retailer (purchase documents, Steiner Paris labels, and cover patterns are all preserved).
Dimensions: approximately 96 × 66 × 69 cm per armchair.
Weight: 65 kg for the set of 5, or approximately 13 kg per armchair.
If a carrier is required for delivery, the cost will be added to the purchase price.
Covers:
4 armchairs were reupholstered in September 2015.
Upholstery: Beluga Couida, composition:
45% polyester / 20% polyamide / 27% polyurethane / 8% elastane.
The covers are currently stained and require professional cleaning or restoration. The tubular frames, however, are in perfect condition.
We attempted to clean the covers with soap and water, but without success. Therefore, we prefer to sell them as is and leave the restoration to the buyer.
The original cover patterns have been preserved, allowing for the creation of identical new covers without having to recreate the patterns. Perhaps in a different material and/or color. This can be discussed with the professional you choose.
