The Royal C.G. factory, established in Vierzon in the Cher region, produced porcelain of remarkable quality in the mid-20th century, enhanced with painted decorations featuring rustic accents. This set of five dinner plates is a beautiful example. Made from a fine porcelain body, they feature a finely painted polychrome floral bouquet at the center: yellow, blue, and pink daisies mingle in an airy, luminous composition. The gently scalloped rim is highlighted by an elegant gold band and a dotted frieze enhanced with gold, running between the well and the edge. The white glaze, with its deep, milky whiteness, brings out the vibrancy of the colors. Stamp printed on the back: Véritable Porcelaine, Royal Email, C.G., Pâte Fine, Fabriqué à Vierzon (Cher). Approximately 22 cm in diameter. In very good condition, with bright and well-preserved gilding.
