Product description
This set of four dining chairs is manufactured by the Polish manufacturer ZPM Radomsko, in the iconic style of Michael Thonet's chair no. 14. The design is a classic, known for its revolutionary use of bentwood and its light, elegant silhouette that has been popular since the 19th century. Each chair is made of dark stained beech wood, bent using the traditional steam technique pioneered by Thonet. The round seats feature hand-woven rattan, also known as webbing, which provides both comfort and a timeless aesthetic. The combination of the dark brown frame and the natural-colored seat creates a warm and classic contrast. The chairs originate from Poland, where ZPM Radomsko has a long history of producing furniture in this Viennese tradition. The chairs are in good vintage condition, with a patina on the woodwork that matches their age and history. The webbing seats are sturdy and well-preserved, testifying to the quality of the craftsmanship. The construction is solid and the chairs are immediately ready for use. These versatile chairs fit seamlessly into various interior styles, from classic and rural to eclectic and modern. They are ideal as dining chairs around a wooden or marble table, but also function excellently as individual chairs in a living room or conservatory.
