In 1968, Milanese designer Vico Magistretti, the creator of the famous Eclisse lamp (1965), created Selene, a chair made of a single piece of polyester and fiberglass. Always in search of new materials and a simplicity of style, Magistretti designed numerous timeless pieces. The Selene chair is one of Artemide's bestsellers. It is a testament to technical ingenuity and great aesthetic sensibility. The base has an S-shape to make the chair stackable and very sturdy, and to ensure that it can be manufactured in one piece.
