Set of 4 mid-century dining chairs designed by Rudi Verelst for Novalux. Made in Belgium in the 1960s. Very rare set of chairs with a wooden plywood frame, chrome details, and a chrome trumpet base. Black leather upholstery. The chairs swivel. The set shows signs of wear consistent with age. Signs of wear include some light scratches in the chrome work, and the wood shows discoloration/signs of use, which can be easily restored by a woodworker. One chair has a small hole in the leather of the backrest; see photos. Dimensions: Height 75 cm, seat height 46.5 cm, width 53 cm, depth 53 cm. Designer: Rudi Verelst. Manufacturer: Novalux.
