Four Superleggera 699 chairs designed by Giò Ponti for Cassina, Italy, produced between 1951-1957. Black lacquered ash wood with Indian cane seat. 3 chairs in perfect condition, 1 chair has 2 small pieces of cane coming loose (see photos, easily repairable). Excellent condition. Purchased in 2016 at Donum Antwerp. Inspired by the traditional fishing chairs from Chiavara in Italy.
