The Frenesí Bar Stool, whose name translates as "Frenzy" in English, was designed by the design group Transatlàntic, formed by three Spanish designers: Ramon Benedito, Lluìs Morillas and Josep Puig.
The Frenesí or 'Frenzy' chair was not designed for a particular interior, but for bar use. The "designer bar" was a signature phenomenon of Spanish postmodernism. It was a highly orchestrated and sometimes thematic space for drinking cocktails, seeing and being seen.
The Frenesí stool has a phallic diagonal support, comically emphasized by a foam tip; the leather seat gathers itself around the back of the sitter.
Normal signs of use considering the "ages" of the bar stool
