Product description
This set of four wooden armchairs was designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. The chairs are a classic example of mid-century Dutch design, characterized by their organic lines and functional elegance.
The chairs are crafted from teak wood with a warm brown finish. The design features a curved backrest with vertical slats and fluidly shaped armrests that transition seamlessly into the seat. The tapered legs contribute to the light and airy silhouette typical of the 1950s and 1960s.
The set is in good condition with a characteristic patina befitting its age. The original finish has been preserved, contributing to the authentic appearance of these vintage pieces.
These Pastoe chairs look excellent around a wooden dining table in a mid-century modern or Scandinavian-inspired interior. They offer both comfort and a strong visual statement in the dining room.
