This set of four vintage armchairs (1990s) was designed by Hennie de Jong for the manufacturer Nomada. The chairs are characterized by a sleek and timeless design typical of the period.
The armchairs are constructed with a chrome-plated steel tubular frame that provides a sturdy and elegant base. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a striking red fabric. The armrests feature black lacquered wooden supports. The dimensions of the chairs are 70 cm deep, 80 cm high, with a seat height of 48 cm and an armrest height of 68 cm.
The chairs are in good condition. The chrome steel frame and upholstery are well-maintained and show hardly any signs of use. However, one chair has a small hole in the seat upholstery (no attempt at repair was made intentionally, but left to the buyer's wishes). The black lacquer on the armrests shows signs of use, consistent with the age of this set. They are ideal for use around a dining table or as eye-catching seating in an office or meeting room, because the seating comfort is truly amazing.
